Come join us at The Morris Farm Kitchen throughout the fall and winter and learn about different ways of cooking/baking, reducing food waste and making the most of your harvest through fermentation and preservation. Plus a great tasting meal or goodie!
Our first two sessions called Seasonal and Simple Fall Meals and Sourdough Basics will be taught by Peter Kraus, a local baker, farmer, and cook who owns Driftless Sourdough, a micro-bakery based out of Alna. Learn how to utilize your end of summer and early autumn harvest to the fullest potential and learn how to make sourdough bread from scratch!
The holiday season is here! Bring the entire family and each family member can decorate an ornament. This will be a great opportunity to meet and network with other families on similar journeys in navigating the Maine System of Care. All are welcome to join in the fun and conversation. 10:30am-12:30pm on Wednesday, December 7 at the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library Community Room (2nd floor), 4 Oak Street in BBH.
Sign up today for Winter 2017 programs with New Ventures Maine. All classes are free and open to the public, provided at no cost to you.
Early sign-ups are encouraged, as class size and event attendance are limited in order to ensure individual attention and support.
